Private Childbirth Education Crash Course          2-4 hours                 $200

At your home or via skype.  Perfect for parents who went through a full class with cherub #1 and want to refresher course for this birth.  We'll cover hospital rules, birth logistics, birth plans, labor support, and birth empowerment.  And of course it's the perfect time to chat one on-one with an experienced doula. 
Includes:  Skype/in-home meeting. Email with follow-up links as discussed in interview.  Resource support.  Childbirth education overview customized to meet your needs.

Birth Plan Support                             30 min - 1 hour, Email,              $70

Creating your birth plan can be an empowering process.  It is the time for you to sit down with your partner and care provider and figure out what matters to you and what doesn't.   It's a reminder for everyone how your birth is different from the birht next door.

Elimination communication                   1 Phone Consultation           $Free

It's my way of trying to make the world a healthier and diaper-free place.    Both my girls were out of diapers by 1 year (13 months for #1, and 12 months for #2).  I have tips on how to start, transition out of diapers, stay positive, discuss your methods with friends and family, books to read, blogs to paruse, and get started.
Caviat: Only for pregnant moms and moms with babies who do not yet stand up.

Doula Services

Free Consultation                                                                               $Free

Meet with us first.  Let's discuss your pregnancy, your plans, and your wishes for your birth.  During our free one hour consultation you can ask any questions and we can get to know each other. 

Doula Services (planned hospital birth)                                            $1,250

One in-home meetings previous to birth (more meetings if you want to come to me), phone support, pre-natal resource consultation, intermittent (as needed) support during early labor, constant support during active labor, birth plan consultation, assist in hospital transition, photography (as needed), post partum visit.  Elimination Communication set up and advice is included in the post partum visit.  $50 Discount for VBAC, and Hypnobabies students .

Adoption/surrogacy
Babies born to moms that feel supported during labor tend to be happier and more peaceful.  Are you involved in a complex pregnancy?  With a little discussion and planning, everyone can have a role during labor and birth.

Doula-In-Training (When Available)           Full Doula Services     $500

Finding a doula can be a daunting task.  And for doulas, finding the first few clients can be as well.   If you are intersted in working with a new doula working toward her certification, please let me know and I will try to match you up with a doula-in-training.  If possible Westside Doula will be available for back up and consultations.
