Pre-Natal Yoga

Pre-natal yoga has become an important part of pregnancy.  Pre-natal yoga differs from other types of yoga in that it often infuses discussions about labor into routines that are designed to help a woman prepare for birth.

Pre-natal yoga classes are also an all female environment and a wealth of information and experience to tap into.

New moms need create a community of women who are in their same place in life.  We know that women who feel supported have easier labors and feel more positive about their pregnancies.  Here are some westside suggestions of facilities that offer excellent pre-natal yoga classes.

Goda Yoga: offers a great pre-natal yoga class in downtown Culver City. Parking is around the corner.  Great food near-by.   The begining yoga classes are pre-natal appropiate and the official prenatal class is Monday mornings at 10. (as of Feb. 2010)
