HypnoBabies works with you to re-program your mind's belief about labor, which in turn, dramatically changes the birth experience into a powerful and pain free experience.

Hypnobabies differs from other hypnosis for childbirth classes in that it also contains a childbirth education component. That way, you don't have to take another childbirth eduction class.

Chelsea is a certified Hypnobabies doula.

A Case Study from the Hypnobabies site:

One of our Hypno-Dads, Shane recently posted a YouTube video of Hypno-Mom Alicia having a long birthing wave (contraction) in labor while at 7 cm, with a baby that was in a posterior position and head tipped to the side. This can create a much more difficult birthing ,yet Alicia is very relaxed, calm and comfortable, breathing deeply during the wave, and smiling when she is finished with it. Using Hypnobabies allowed her to enjoy her baby's natural birth, and she is looking forward to her second baby's birth...any minute now! Shane's comments were:

Our first child was born at home, posterior and asynclitic (she came sunnyside up and head cocked to the side---usually results in long labors and c-section in hospital). Thanks to Hypnobabies (and lots of practice before hand) the birth was easy and fast. Alicia is getting close to transition in this video but you can see how calm she feels and how focused she is...she's just riding the birthing wave (contraction) out. The whole birth was like this.
